About this Policy

The Privacy Act 1988 requires entities bound by the Australian Privacy Principles to have a privacy policy. This privacy policy outlines the personal information handling practices of NDP Economic Development ABN 49 707 192 534.

Collection of your Personal Information

At all times we try to only collect the information we need for the particular function or activity we are carrying out.

The main way we collect personal information about you is when you give it to us, for example, through a survey or interview.

The main topic of research interest is concerning business and the economy. We do not typically collect any sensitive personal information (e.g. your health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, association memberships, religious beliefs, or other demographic information).

When conducting a survey, we de-identify individual survey responses and only report aggregate survey results with anonymous quotes. We collect individual information about a person or business only insofar as it helps us to ensure we are getting a representative sample. (i.e., size of business, location and industry type).

We intend to give you as much control as possible over your personal information.
